How do I register my project?
  • a). NCA Website
  • b). Click on the ‘Developers’ tab then click on ‘project registration’ and then finally click on ‘project registration portal’
What are the requirements for registering a project?
  • a). The contractor and sub-contractor must be registered by NCA and must have a current/valid practicing license
  • b). The project consultants (e.g. Engineer, Architect and Quantity Surveyor) must be registered by their professional bodies (i.e. EBK   BORAQ – [required: consultants registration numbers])and must have a valid practicing license
  • c). Approved Architectural and Structural drawings
  • d). Physical planning forms (county Approval permits/Letters/PPA2
  • e). Other regulatory approvals i.e. NEMA/ERC/WRA/KCAA License where necessary
  • f). Bill of quantities summary page duly signed and stamped by the Quantity Surveyor
  • g).Developer’s Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN
  • h). Signed contract/tender form/ signed agreement by developer and their consultants
Am I supposed to pay a fee when registering a project online?

Project registration is free, you will not be charged when registering your project.

How long does it take for my application to be approved? (Contractor project)?

For a contractor, after you have submitted your online application, the application takes a minimum of 7 working days to be evaluated. For a project, after the on-site due diligence, the evaluation process should take a period of 7 working days.

How do I report a non-compliant/faulty project?

You can make a complaint through our email address; info@nca.go.ke our official lines; 0709126102/172/173, our social media channels or the feedback channels on our website. Make sure you have listed the exact location of the building, the name of the building, attach photographs of the building and indicate your name and mobile number.
