The delegation expressed its confidence in Kenya’s economic stability and strong commitment to progress while on his part Eng. Akech appreciated the Turkish efforts towards implementing the affordable housing project.
“The government will bid internationally for agencies that will undertake certain aspects of the project. The target is to provide decent, affordable and quality housing while using technology that addresses cost, quality and speed,” he said.
The visit was preceded by the Quality Infrastructure Business Matching Seminar, a joint Business to Business initiative of the Japanese and Turkish Embassies in Kenya which was attended by over 80 Kenyan contractors courtesy of facilitation by the Authority.
