NCA Celebrates Customer Service Week
Customer Service Week is an international celebration highlighting the importance of customer service, celebrated during the first week of October by different agencies globally. This year’s events took place between 4th to 8th October, and NCA celebrated by setting up service desks across five cities.
The service desks were set up at Kencom stage in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD), in the Huduma Centre compound in Eldoret, at the County Government office compound in Kisumu (Prosperity House), in the Nakuru CBD and along Digo Road in Mombasa.
These gave members of the public an opportunity to engage directly with officers from the Authority at locations convenient to them and have inquiries and possible grievances heard and addressed.
NCA’s Executive Director, Eng. Maurice Akech served clients at the Nairobi service desk, interacting with those who passed by the busy area, especially during rush hour. Clients served at the different desks across the country were also given gifts of appreciation from the Authority.
Stakeholder engagement remains a major priority for the Authority, which has various programmes countrywide across the year. In the coming weeks, a sector based engagement for the Telecommunications sector as well as a region based engagement in the Coastal region are expected to take place.
